Just recently I went to Bitou Cape Trail (鼻頭角步道)so I am able to give you a brief introduction of this tourist attraction(景點).

Located at the cape of the northeast coast of Taiwan, Bitou Cape Trail is where you can enjoy attractive coastal scenery(海岸風景). The cape (岬角)appears to resemble (像)a nose sticking out, hence its name (the pronunciation of a tip of a nose in mandarin is Bitou). The trail (步道)is also called the Great Wall of Taiwan as part of it looks similar to that of China.

Not being too hard or tiring, it is a trail quite suitable for all ages. It’s actually quite an enjoyment for a hiker to listen to music while going hiking there. The music somehow sounds better in the wild. There are four pavilions (涼亭)along the trail so hikers can take a rest if they want. One can say the highlight of the trail is a used barrack (軍營)there, which is a colorful café (TingTao Cafe) now. Those who don’t wanna just keep going can stay at the Café and enjoy serene moments in nature. No hurry. This should be life.

It sounds that the trail is ideal for an outdoor activity, but there’s a gentle reminder to you: don’t go there in a scorching (炙熱的)summer day coz the sun will be fierce, and there aren’t many places to block(阻擋)the sun and so you may be unable to manage it.

Feel interested in this trail? Take train to Ruifang Railway Station and transfer by bus 886 or 856 and hop off at(在某處下車)Bitou Cape Station and then follow the signs there, and you’ll be able to find the trail.
